About This Site

A Daily Dose With Cammy is an independent publication I launched in April 2026. I am a mixed Indigenous author - from the Arkansas Apache who were assigned to Oklahoma - as well as mother, wife, former kennel manager, and vet tech - now fully disabled. In February 2025, I was in a car accident in which an off-duty cop rear-ended me and left me unable to continue my career, so I have chosen to return to my first love: words.

I like to write about a little bit of everything, depending on the thoughts that flit through my mind at any given moment and what is happening in my neck of the woods. I could be discussing chronic illness one day, then proper animal care the next, followed by a long exposé on the local government. I cannot tie myself to one subject because I would be doing myself a disservice by placing myself in a finite box - I would also be incredibly bored.

If you subscribe for free today, you'll get access to select posts with no ability to comment. You will be able to read but not join the discourse on these posts.

With a paid subscription, you directly support my work and will gain access to my Discord groups, where we will support one another, start a monthly book club, and even hold each other accountable as writers, if that speaks to you. It will also allow you to read all my future published work and archives, rather than select articles offered to free subscribers.

Your subscription makes this site possible and allows A Daily Dose With Cammy to continue as an independent publication. Thank you so much! I'm glad you're here.

Access All Posts

By signing up, you'll get access to the full archive of everything I have already published and everything that's still flurrying through my mind. My work becomes your very own private library!

Fresh Content, Delivered Straight To You

You won't have to worry about whether you missed something because of a pesky algorithm or news feed. My work will be delivered directly from my mind to your email, ensuring you stay up to date on my posts.

Meet People With Similar Interests

Join a community of other subscribers who share the same interests. The goal is to build a coalition of chronically ill, neurodivergent people who understand and support one another and lobby for positive change. It's important we all feel seen and heard, especially with everything going on in the world right now. If that resonates with you, I'd love to have you join!
